Here would be an excellent Claas Dominator 88 with hydrostatic transmission and easy-to-use joystick control.
This is the latest 88 model (1999 model year) and here is the Vista Cab. This differs from the older Dominator 88 models a lot technically
Here are some small identifiers and differences from the older 88 models:
Curved windshield: In older Dominator models (such as the 88 S or SL), the cab windows were completely straight and angular. In this model, the windshield curves to the sides, which improves visibility to the cutting table.
Design: The cab comes from the newer Lexion series, and was introduced in the Dominator VX models (1998–2000) as the last major update before the model series changed.
Door and pillars: The cab pillars are narrower and the door is made entirely of glass, which is typical of the Vista Cab generation.
Layout: The cab is centrally located and is clearly more spacious than the previous "box-like" cabs.

1. Multifunctional handle (Joystick)
- Travel speed and direction: Push forward/backward.
- Cutting table: Raise and lower (thumb buttons).
- Crop pick-up reel: Speed and height adjustment.
- Discharge horn: Start and turn.
2. Instrument cluster and monitoring
- In the middle is a traditional but comprehensive instrument cluster:
Tachometer: Shows the threshing reel and engine revolutions.
Monitoring of threshing losses: At the bottom of the instrument cluster are displays with bars that show the losses of the concaves and the sieve.
Upper display: A Wipomatic reversing camera/display is installed on top of the cab,
3. Right-hand console
This is the machine's "command bridge":
Gear shift: The black knob (positions 1-2-3) is a mechanical gear selector.
Threshing mechanism engagement: Large black levers (yellow/red on the surface) engage the threshing mechanism and cutterbar drive.
Emergency stop: The red "mushroom" button in the upper right corner stops the mechanism immediately.
Switches: The bottom row has rocker switches for, among other things, work lights, beacon and fan.
4. Steering column
Under the steering wheel are the pedals (service brakes that can be locked together) and on the left side is the parking brake pedal.
Claas Bordinformator on-board computer mounted on the right front pillar of the cab. It is the central control unit of the Dominator model.
From this device, the driver can monitor the following in real time, among other things:
Threshing losses: The bar display at the top shows the losses of the concave and sieve.
Threshing area (ha/h): It calculates the harvested area and output, as long as the width of the cutting table has been programmed into the device.
Travel speed (km/h): In a hydrostatic machine, this is important information for optimizing threshing output.
RPM: It can be used to check the rotation speeds of the threshing reel and other critical components.
Service intervals: The "Service" indicator lights at the bottom (10h, 50h, 100h) remind you of greasing and inspections.
The black selector switch is used to change the desired information on the display (e.g. ha, km/h or h)
The cutting table is a traditional but very suitable C450, i.e. 4.5m cutting table.
The combine also has a towbar and the price includes a table trolley that has been used in this combine to move the cutting table.

Pictures after last season's threshing, in the middle of cleaning. Now cleaned and made minor repairs.
- The engine was running hot during the final threshing. Replaced the head gasket and cleaned the radiator. Oil leak in the engine room, replaced the condenser. The engine was also replaced in this combine earlier, as in this engine type the water pump is "integrated" into the block and it had cracked the block when it cracked.
